At over 6 million acres, the Adirondack Park is bigger than the State of Vermont and bigger than five national parks combined: Grand Canyon, Great Smoky, Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Glacier.

The rugged High Peaks, more than 3,000 lakes and ponds of all shapes and sizes, and the most waterfalls in the state, are just some of the magnificent backdrops. Sometimes referred to as the ‘Montana of the east’, the area boasts expanses of pastoral grazing land set against a mountain backdrop, excellent for year-round filming.

Early 19^th Century architecture abounds in the rustic Adirondack Great Camps, old railroad stations, and nostalgic Main streets.

Winter Olympics

Olympic host city, and winter sports legend, Lake Placid stands alone to have hosted two Winter Olympic Games.
