Getting to Lake Placid
By Air
Cape Air airlines offers daily flights from Boston and JFK to Adirondack Regional Airport. Contour Airlines offers daily flights from Philadelphia, PA to Plattsburgh International Airport. Check the airport websites for rental cars and ground transportation.
By Rail
The Adirondack Amtrak rail line travels round trip once a day from NYC to Albany to Montreal, stopping along the way at Westport, just 30 minutes from Lake Placid.
By Bus
Trailways offers bus service to Lake Placid.
By Car
From Montreal, South on A15 (becomes I-87) to Exit 34. South on 9N to Jay. West on 86 to Lake Placid.
From Albany, North on I-87 to Exit 30. West on 73 to Lake Placid.
From Syracuse, North on I-81 to Watertown. Then East on 3 to Saranac Lake. East on 73 to Lake Placid.
