Adirondack Film is engaged in providing assistance to filmmakers and production companies shooting in the Adirondacks, through the Adirondack Film Commission, and in developing educational programs for local filmmakers and student filmmakers.

Put October 20-23, 2022 on your calendar! It certainly “takes a village” to run this successful 4 day event. We look for volunteers that want to help with planning and with executing the special events, VIP hospitality, transportation, ticket sales, marketing… you name it. We offer fantastic benefits including the opportunity to attend many of the films & events when you aren’t covering a shift. We have started planning, let us know if you are interested in helping out. Otherwise, we hope you’ll join the other 70 volunteers that make the LP Film Festival one of the best in the nation.

Primarily, I did it in order to help an event that I think is very important to our community. But I also enjoyed access to all films and the chance to meet with those in the business.
