Based upon the story by Stephen King. After a near-fatal accident, soon-to-be father Pete Shelburn begins to suspect that his past has come back to haunt him. Originally from Laurens, NY, Spencer found himself putting roots down in the Capital Region of New York, doing all sorts of different schooling and jobs. Eventually he decided to pursue film, and was given an opportunity to work as a production assistant in NYC, where he learned what filmmaking was truly like. It wasn't long before he moved back upstate, seeking out a community that better supported his ambitions. His first film The Monkey is a testament to the power of enthusiasm, sincerity, and collaboration; qualities that he tries to bring to all his projects no matter what hat he's wearing. He currently lives just outside Saratoga Springs with his partner Lauren, works at Saratoga Arts as their Community Outreach and Grants Coordinator, and spends his free time designing immersive events, building patios, and making hot sauce.
